Trade Unions for Energy Democracy (TUED) is a global network of trade unions and close allies committed to advancing and defending public ownership of energy, which is essential to achieving an ambitious, socially just, and economy-wide transition to a sustainable future. Established in 2013, TUED brings together unions from all sectors and all regions, in order to bring the technical knowledge and political weight of organized labor to bear on the urgent struggle for solutions to the climate emergency, extractivism and pollution of all kinds.
