The impact of COVID-19 on the gig economy: Short- and long-term concerns

In addition to the short-term concerns, there are important questions related to how the gig economy will evolve in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jeon et al. Whether a similar trend will occur in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic will likely depend on the speed and intensity of the post-COVID-19 overall economic recovery.
